D.H. Cuddy
President
In 1951 when Cuddy succeeded his father as president of the bank, most Anchorage business leaders believed he was among the youngest bank presidents in the country. Today the Anchorage High School and Stanford University graduate and attorney steers a course for First National that places it as a leader among Alaska banks, and one of the safest, and most financially strong banks in the nation.

Betsy Lawer
Chief Operating Officer
As a third generation Alaskan banker, Lawer grew up with many of Alaska's business and community leaders. She learned the banking business literally at her father's knee, earned her degree from Duke University, and returned to work her way up to the leadership position she holds today.

Doug Longacre
Senior Vice President
Longacre's grandparents mined the gold fields north of Fairbanks in 1902. Today, Longacre continues that tradition by mining the potential of Alaskan businesses. The West Anchorage High graduate worked his way through college doing construction work before joining the bank in 1974.

Sue Foley
Senior Vice President
A banker for more than 33 years, Foley has worked in all areas of banking. She joined First National in 1974 as a teller and has worked in Juneau and Anchorage branches. She has served as supervisor, operations assistant, branch manager, Human Resource manager and cashier. Her experience in bank operations enables her to efficiently manage all physical assets of the bank.

Bill Renfrew
Senior VP & Regional Manager Interior Alaska
Working a gold mine in the 1970s taught Alaska-born Renfrew things about banking he couldn't learn in school, behind a desk or even in the city. The experience of making payroll and borrowing money during his stint as a miner helped Renfrew understand his customer's needs. Today he uses that experience and the relationships he's built from more than 25 years in Fairbanks to serve as Interior regional manager.

David Lawer
Senior Vice President
Lawer came to Alaska more than 30 years ago, working construction to help pay his way through college and law school. When he returned to Alaska, Lawer specialized in commercial and banking law. He has served as the bank's counsel for 24 years.

Jason Roth
Senior Vice President
Roth, born in Seward, is a second generation Alaskan banker. He has worked for the bank in Seward, Anchorage and Juneau. His formal training at the University of Arizona prepared him to focus on the funds, accounting and audit areas of banking.

David Stringer
Senior Vice President
This third generation native of Juneau and University of Alaska graduate worked his way through the bank's trainee program in the 1970s while serving in the Alaska National Guard. He has served in various areas of the bank, including the Kodiak and Seward branches.

Charles Weimer
Senior Vice President & Regional Manager
Weimer worked in Alaska's canneries, the Yukon River fishery and Interior construction to earn his way through college. Upon graduation, Weimer joined the bank's management trainee program, working in Anchorage before finding a permanent home on the Kenai Peninsula in 1984, where he serves as regional manager.

Debra Wilson
Senior Vice President
A lifelong Alaskan and third-generation First National stockholder, Wilson grew up just down the street from First National's Main Branch in Anchorage. While attending college she worked as a teller at a small local bank, then joined First National as an audit trainee in 1982. Today she manages the bank's Electronic Data Processing Division.

Bill Inscho
Senior Vice President
Soon after he completed his college education in business, Inscho joined the financial industry and has been a banker for nearly 30 years. He is now a member of the First National Senior Loan Committee, and currently works in Corporate Lending in Anchorage.

Craig Thorn
Senior Vice President
A lifelong Alaskan, Thorn is heavily involved in the local community. His volunteer and leadership experience with various organizations in the Matanuska Valley area helps him in his current position as he oversees bank operations in Eagle River, Palmer and Wasilla.
