Young Savers Account

(Uniform Transfers to Minors Account - UTMA)

Get your child's financial education off to a good start--teach your children about the importance of saving money by opening their own Young Savers Account at First National Bank Alaska. A Young Savers account is also a great place to direct deposit your child's Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD).

  • Interest compounded daily, credited on the last day of each quarter
  • No minimum balance fee
  • No charge for first three withdrawals per month, including automatic, telephone or pre-authorized transfers
  • $2 fee for each additional withdrawal after the three allowed, including automatic, telephone or pre-authorized transfers
  • Maximum six automatic, telephone or pre-authorized transfers allowed per month, regardless of whether or not a fee is charged. (Excessive transfers may result in closure of account.)
