Janssen brings banking talents to Sitka
Having spent more than a decade learning the financial industry in Anchorage, Kodiak, North Pole and the Lower 48, Tiffany Janssen now brings her expertise to First National Bank Alaska.
The bank’s Board of Directors recently appointed Janssen to the position of Branch Manager of the Sitka Branch. She’ll be responsible for business development, lending, customer service and branch operations.
“Tiffany has the kind of experience and personable quality that speaks directly to what we do at First National every day,” said Vice President Luke Fanning, the bank’s Southeast regional manager. “I know she’ll make sure the Sitka Branch remains helpful to each customer who walks in the door.”
First National took ownership of the Sitka Branch in 1962.
“First National is well respected, it’s a privilege to be part of the history,” Janssen said. “I’m fortunate to work alongside a great staff in one of our state’s many beautiful communities.
“The Sitka Branch will continue to offer the convenience, service and value our customers have come to rely on from First National for nearly a century.”
A graduate of the University of Florida and the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Janssen has served as a branch manager as well as an operations supervisor. She’ll bring her three Siberian huskies with her to Sitka, where she looks forward to enjoying all the Southeast Alaska wilderness has to offer.
“Hiking, fishing, you name it, and we’ll do it,” Janssen said. “I can’t wait to become part of the community.”
Alaskan-owned and operated since 1922, First National proudly meets the financial needs of Alaskans with ATMs and 30 branches in 18 communities throughout the state. Forbes named the bank one of the nation's Most Trustworthy Companies in 2012 and 2013.
