First National worked for nearly two years to bring local banking to Alaskans living and working in Healy. On March 12, 2008, the work paid off. Three local residents fill key positions at First National’s 30th branch in the state.
“Now people in the Denali Borough don’t have to drive 110 miles to see their banker,” said Teri Simmons, Healy Branch Manager. “They can bank right here with their neighbors.”
The branch is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the summer and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the winter.
This bi-monthly newsletter is sent to Alaska business owners, managers and community leaders.
