Mallard appointed to Mortgage Loan Officer II

First National Bank Alaska’s Board of Directors announced the promotion of Katie Mallard to Mortgage Originator II and appointed her to Loan Officer.

Mallard, who holds a degree in business entrepreneurship from North Carolina State University, joined First National in 2017. She immersed herself in mortgage lending, quickly becoming
an expert in various home loan options, down payment assistance programs,
and home refinancing.

In her new role, Mallard will use her expertise to provide Alaskans with the best mortgage products to meet their unique needs. Her dedication to providing outstanding service to her customers has been recognized with a 2018 First National Bank Alaska Origination Team top customer service award.

“Purchasing a home or refinancing a mortgage is a big decision,” Mallard said, “I’m devoted to ensuring that my customers are 100 percent comfortable throughout the process.”
