Biography
Katie Mallard’s goal is to ensure her customers are 100 percent comfortable throughout every step of the process.
Mallard, who holds a bachelor’s in business entrepreneurship from North Carolina State University, joined First National in 2017. In 2018, she joined the mortgage lending team and quickly became an expert in various home loan options. To further develop her career in banking, she transitioned to construction and commercial lending. Today, as Loan Officer and Assistant Vice President, she applies her experience to owner-builder residential construction loans and commercial loans. “Whether it is your first-time applying or it’s for a project you’re passionate about, I’m here to help every step of the way,” Mallard tells her customers. “My job is to make sure you are fully taken care of and understand the process from start to finish.”
