FNB Donates Over $116K In First Quarter
First National Bank Alaska (FNBA) gave almost $117,000 to non-profitgroups statewide in January, February and March of 2002.
Organizations from Juneau to Homer received $116,735 in donations from
FNBA. The bank provided significant contributions to such diverse groups as the Boys and Girls Club (Mat-Su Clubhouse), Alaska Junior Theatre, Anchorage Housing Initiatives, Hospice of Kenai, Homer Council on the Arts, Valley Hospital Foundation (a three-year grant), Juneau Arts and Humanities Council, Junior Achievement of Alaska, Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake, American Lung Association, the YWCA Women$fund and several others.
First National Bank Alaska has a long history of supporting the
communities it serves since opening 80 years ago. Donations in the first quarter of 2002 are up 19% over donations in the first three months of 2001 ($95,072).
Established in 1922, First National is Alaskas largest Alaskan-owned and
operated bank, with 27 branches throughout Alaska and ATMs in 17 rural
communities.
