Biography
Having lived in Seward most of her life, Melissa Schutter believes she is the right person to manage the bank’s branch in her hometown.
“I have known many of our customers for most of my life,” Schutter said. “Those friends and neighbors know they can walk in my office at any moment to get the help they need.”
Schutter celebrated her 20-year employment anniversary with First National in April 2018. First hired as a Teller, she also worked as a Customer Service Representative, Personal Banker, Operations Assistant and Operations Supervisor before being named Branch Manager. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Capella University.
In Schutter’s mind, all the experience and knowledge she’s gained at First National over the last few decades have made her a banker that Seward can trust.
“Each day, we will build new relationships and strengthen existing ones,” she said.
