With donations and sponsorships of more than $168,336 in the second quarter, First National Bank Alaska’s contributions to Alaskans and their communities totaled $392,512 in the first half in 2025. This includes charitable gifts, activity sponsorships, and community and business sponsorships distributed statewide by the bank and its employees.

First National’s broad support of the state’s communities was shown in its funding of such diverse organizations as Alaska Chamber, Alaska Goldpanners, Alaska Rural Rehabilitation Corporation, Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association, American Red Cross, Anchorage Mushing District, Anchorage Senior Center, Catholic Social Services, Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies, Cook Inlet Tribal Council/Native Youth Olympic Games, Fairbanks Symphony/Suzuki Institute, Resource Development Council, the Sitka Salmon Derby and Valdez Little League.

The bank was also voted “Best of Alaska” in 2024 in the Anchorage Daily News awards, ranking as one of the top three in the Bank/Financial category for the sixth year in a row.
