First National named “Best Bank to Work For” third year in a row

For the third consecutive year, American Banker named First National Bank Alaska one of the Best Banks to Work For in the U.S. The award recognizes banks across the nation for their employee satisfaction.

“My grandfather, Warren Cuddy, wrote the bank’s mission statement more than eight decades ago and it includes taking care of employees,” said Board Chair and CEO Betsy Lawer.

“It’s not only the right thing to do, but it’s also made good business sense. When employees are comfortable where they work, they can do their best to meet our customers’ financial needs. That’s more important than ever these days. I’m so proud of the work they’ve done, and that they think First National is among the best workplaces in the nation.”
