Back to Digital Banking Upgrade
Ensure your payroll and other electronic payments stay on track during the Digital Banking Upgrade
To ensure uninterrupted ACH and wire service, take the following actions before Oct. 16 at 5 p.m.
Confirm you know your User ID, password and token serial number. When you log in to online banking after Oct. 19, you will need to log in using your User ID and password, complete a multifactor authentication verification step and activate your token.
- If you do not know your password, contact your System Administrator. Note, after Oct. 19, you may use the Forgot Password function on FNBAlaska.com to reset your password.
- To activate your token, you will need the token serial number located on the back of the hard token. If you cannot read your token serial number, contact Fulfillment and Support at 907-777-3640.
Check your employee entitlements in ONEpay to ensure assigned permissions are accurate.
Payment history will not migrate from ONEpay. If you’d like to save your payment history, log in to ONEpay and download your data (up to one year).
The tax templates for 11206, 72005, 9405, 94105 and 9455 will migrate from ONEpay. If you use another tax template, save it so you can transfer it to the new digital banking platform.
Contact your Treasury Management representative to sign up to receive incoming and/or outgoing wire notifications via email.
Participant account numbers may only contain numbers and letters; spaces and special characters are not allowed. Remove any special characters from your ONEpay templates, including dashes and spaces. The new digital banking platform will create an error message if not resolved before go-live.
Set up or opt out of dual control.
Review the following changes to our ACH and wires platform
Review user entitlements and limits as soon as possible after the Oct. 19 launch. Some entitlements will be different in the new digital banking platform for ACH:
- In ONEpay businesses and users have SEC limits and overall limits. The new digital banking platform does not use the SEC limits. The total business daily debit and credit limit and monthly debit limits will convert to the new platform.
- After Oct. 19, Business Administrators (currently known as System Administrators) will have the same access, limits and permissions as the business. Therefore, some Business Administrators may experience higher approval limits than in ONEpay.
- In the new digital banking platform, users may convert with additional ACH permissions.
- If a user has any initiate authority in ONEpay, they will have the authority to initiate by SEC code and Company entitlement. This means they may have increased authority to initiate for all Companies to which they are entitled.
- If a user has any approval authority in ONEpay, they will have the authority to approve by SEC code and Company entitlement. This means they may have increased authority to approve for all Companies to which they are entitled.
- These changes may result in users having the authority to initiate and approve for Companies to which they are entitled.
The domestic wire cutoff time is changing from 2:00 p.m. to 1 p.m. AKT.
If a user is in a locked status in ONEpay due to failed login attempts on Oct. 19, when the digital banking upgrade occurs, the user will be able to log in.
If a user has the System Administrator Role in Business Online Banking (current system), the user will convert to the new digital platform with Administrative permissions including ACH and Wire Services. Administrators will have permissions for ACH and Wires even if they did not have it previously.
EDI 820 will not be available in the new digital banking system.
Customers will be able to assign account nicknames in online banking; however, nicknames will not automatically transfer to the ACH and Wires service. To update account nicknames for your ACH payments, contact Fulfillment and Support at 907-777-3640.
After the digital banking upgrade, ACH reports for returns, notifications of change, receiver, EDI and CTX can be found under the “Statements and Notices” section. Only users with access to View Account permissions will be able to see those notices.
The following ACH and wire templates will not migrate to the new digital banking platform:
- Templates that do not have a receiver or wire beneficiary stored
- Templates that are not Active
- Templates with no end date
All customers will need to enter their token one-time pin when logging in to online and mobile banking. The current ONEpay system prompts for a hard token one-time pin when an ACH is approved. In the new digital banking platform, the system will only prompt for a token one-time pin when the ACH payment is initiated.
Templates used for recurring payments will migrate to the new digital banking platform; however, you will need to reschedule payments.
Any ACH custom file mapping that was completed in ONEpay will not migrate to the new platform. Custom file mapping will need to be completed again in the new digital banking platform.
When using a wire payee for the first time in the new digital banking platform, the beneficiary’s address will need to be reformatted.
Alerts in ONEpay will not migrate to the new platform. Specific transactional Alerts will automatically generate. All other alerts must be set up again after the upgrade.
Your hard token will continue to work after the upgrade. The bank will offer both soft and hard tokens in the new platform. Upon receipt of either a hard or soft token, you must contact First National’s Fulfillment and Support team to assign the new token to the user.
In ONEpay, you can export ACH batches as a Comma-Separated Value (.csv), Tab-Separated Value or NACHA file formats. In the new digital banking platform, you can download ACH batches as Comma-Separated Value (.csv) or PDF file formats.
CTX templates will migrate to the new platform, but the CTX addenda records will not. Please download and save copies of any CTX templates with addenda information that you’d like to keep prior to Oct 16.
Participant account numbers may only contain numbers in the new platform. Profiles in ONEpay will migrate to the new digital banking platform without spaces or any other characters. If you do not remove spaces and characters from your templates before the upgrade, you will receive an “invalid account number” message when you try to use your templates after Oct. 19.* Please update your participant account numbers at the participant level or template level.
*Participant account numbers will be masked after the upgrade. To see your participant account numbers after Oct. 19, review your internal documentation.
When the bank assigns an ACH company ID, that ID is automatically entitled to the business and to all users. Once assigned, the Business Administrator may remove user access manually.
If a business has dual custody for User Administration, after the digital banking upgrade dual custody will apply to all user entitlements, including ACH and wires.
