Katie Mallard

Mallard began her career at First National in 2017. In 2018, she joined the mortgage lending team and quickly became an expert in various home loan options. To further her banking career, Mallard transitioned into construction and commercial lending. Today, as loan officer and vice president, she applies her experience to owner-builder residential construction loans and commercial loans to ensure her customers are 100 percent comfortable throughout every step of the process. “Whether it is your first time applying or it’s for a project you’re passionate about, I’m here to help every step of the way,” Mallard tells her customers. “My job is to make sure you are fully taken care of and understand the process from start to finish.” She holds a bachelor’s in business entrepreneurship from North Carolina State University.
