Account Linking (data aggregation) allows personal banking customers to connect their First National accounts to supported financial software and apps, such as Quicken, QuickBooks, Venmo, Cash App, Robinhood and Empower. Once connected, these services can securely retrieve authorized account information, including balances and transactions.

The new platform offers more reliable connectivity, especially for personal banking customers.
When linking a First National account, customers may see the following names: First National Bank Alaska or FNB Alaska (Credit).
Primary Benefits
- Supported personal finance, payment, investing and budgeting services can receive and display authorized First National account information through account linking services such as Plaid, Yodlee, MX, eMoney and Finicity.
- The Digital Banking Upgrade is designed to provide a more consistent authorization experience and more stable connections with data aggregators.
- With Web Connect, customers can manually download a QFX file for Quicken or a QBO file for QuickBooks to import transactions into their financial software.

The dates below apply to general account linking. For specific details related to Quicken and QuickBooks, review the guides.
- Oct. 16 | Quicken/QuickBooks customers: Complete a data file backup and a final transaction download before 8 p.m. Oct. 16. Transaction history may not be available after the upgrade.
- Oct. 19, 8 a.m. | Quicken/QuickBooks customers: Complete the deactivation/reactivation of your online banking connection.
- Oct. 19, 8 a.m. | Account Linking customers: If you use Account Linking to sync your First National account data with a third-party service, it may take up to a week to reconnect. You might need to re-enter your online banking credentials.
- After Oct. 24 | Customers using Automatic Sync, Express Web Connect or other bank feed or sync services:Reconnect your applicable online banking connections. Some platforms may require you to re-enter your online banking credentials.
Note: Customers may not be able to reconcile transactions posted late Friday or during conversion weekend until transaction data becomes available Tuesday, Oct. 20.
