Franz joins the Best Place to Work in Alaska as Executive Vice President

First National Bank Alaska’s Board of Directors recently named Darren Franz Anchorage Commercial Lending Officer and appointed him Executive Vice President at the state’s largest, locally owned community bank.

Franz joins First National with 27 years of local banking experience. During his banking career, Franz has successfully overseen the management of retail and business banking in 16 different Alaska communities with broad geographic, economic and cultural diversity.

In his new role, Franz will use his proven lending expertise, management experience and knowledge of market opportunities to help the bank achieve its strategic goals.
