Marsjanik brings 30 years of experience to First National as Wealth Management Director

Renne Marsjanik 2021 - Crop.jpgFirst National Bank Alaska’s Board of Directors recently named Renne Marsjanik Wealth Management Director and appointed her Senior Vice President at the state’s largest locally owned community bank.

Marsjanik has 30 years of experience in financial services, investments, consulting, development, and risk management, specializing in wills, trusts and corporate tax. In her new role she will direct all wealth management and trust activities at First National, including ensuring the bank’s wealth management services and solutions meet the objectives of existing trust and investment customers, developing new customer relationships, and leveraging new opportunities to promote the growth and profitability of the Wealth Management Department. “My focus is fostering success, whether it’s the customers I work for or the employees I work with,” says Marsjanik. “My top priority is finding a solution to help Alaskans prosper.”

A graduate of the Western New England University School of Law, Marsjanik’s passion for consulting, model portfolios, business development and risk management has taken her to New York, Brazil, Boston, Colorado, and now the Last Frontier. In her previous role at Transamerica, Marsjanik served in leadership roles for both the Employee Resource Groups for Black Professionals for Change and Salute Veterans, and was appointed Senior Leader of the Diversity and Inclusion Council. She is a former recipient of the Connecticut Scholastic Achievement Program Grant.
