Biography
Somer Rose’s passion for her work is undeniable.
“I have always been a mortgage lender because it is what I love to do,” she said.
While she doesn’t mean it literally, Rose has spent the last 21 years immersing herself in all things mortgage lending and the banking industry. Like her fellow First National lending experts, she knows how to give her home-buying customers exactly what they need.

The child of two Air Force veterans, Rose is also eager to work hand in hand with military customers who live and work near Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, in close proximity to her office at the bank’s Eagle River Branch. The military is an important part of her life and the lives of many of the bank’s Eagle River/Chugiak customers and she takes pride in helping the veterans and the active-duty personnel located in the community.
