Bank appoints branch managers, vice presidents

First National Bank Alaska's Board of Directors recently named two new branch managers and also appointed two Alaskans to lead within the bank as vice presidents.

Martin Crow was promoted to Branch Manager and assigned to the Healy Branch. Crow is a graduate of First National's Management Associate program which trains bank officers and teaches them leadership skills. He joined the bank after arriving in Alaska from Florida.

Vice President Karl Heinz was named Branch Manager of the Eagle River Branch. Born and raised in Anchorage, Heinz also completed the Management Associate program and helped run three other branches before taking over in Eagle River. He was named one of Alaska's 2012 "Top Forty Under 40" business professionals.

Dustin Hofeling was appointed Vice President and named Software Solutions Manager. He's in charge of in-house development, maintenance and support of the core banking software and ancillary systems. Hofeling effectively managed the enhancement and upgrade of online services with more improvements expected in the future.

Michele Schuh was appointed Vice President and named Finance Director. She is a third-generation banker with more than 25 years of finance and accounting experience. In 2011, Schuh was inducted into the Anchorage ATHENA Society, which celebrates professional excellence, commitment to community and encouragement of women's leadership.
