Board appoints new branch managers and officers

The Board of Directors recently approved two bank branch manager appointments and two new officer appointments.

Caprice Pratt was appointed Sitka Branch manager. Pratt holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Alaska Southeast. She brings two years of banking experience and more than 20 years of business experience to her new position. Her most recent position was as a loan officer at the Sitka Branch.

Karl Heinz was appointed Haines Branch Manager, starting May 26. He will fill the position opened up by current Haines Branch Manager Dick Flegel, who is retiring after 36 years with the bank. Heinz earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage. He brings five years of experience at First National to his new position, most recently as a loan officer at the Soldotna Branch. Heinz opened the Glennallen Branch as branch manager in 2006. Prior to that, he worked as a loan officer in Kodiak for three years.

Christina Jensen was appointed Assistant Vice President at Interior City Branch in Fairbanks, where she works as a loan officer. Jensen holds a Bachelors of Science with an emphasis in finance. She has more than fours years of experience at First National, including three years as a loan officer.

Trust Administrator Mark Stearns was appointed Trust Officer, bringing more than 20 years of banking experience to his position. Ten of those years have been in trust. Stearns earned a bachelors degree in Public Law and graduated from Cannon Financial Institutes Personal Trust School.
