Board appoints new vice president

First National Bank Alaskas Board of Directors appointed
Joy Green-Armstrong vice president and legal counsel. Green-Armstrong has eight years of experience in the legal sector, most recently as assistant district attorney for the State of Alaska. She also has extensive experience in the banking business, including two years as the vice president of escrow for a local title company.


Green-Armstrong holds bachelors degrees in Marketing and Real Estate from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She earned her masters degree in Business Administration as a university fellow and Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University-Newark.


Green-Armstrong plays an active role in the community, sitting on the Municipality of Anchorages Library Advisory Board, The Salvation Army Booth Home for Girls advisory board and participating in the Anchorage Chapter of Soroptimist International. She is president of the M. Ashley Dickerson National Bar Association and is a member of Xi Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
