Board of Directors announces new officer appointments

First National Bank Alaska Board of Directors recently appointed and promoted several employees to officer positions.


Two experienced bankers were appointed loan officers. Josh Harrod, a lifelong Alaskan, is now a loan officer at Johansen Branch in Fairbanks. Harrod has worked in the banking industry for more than seven years. Paul Hansmeyer, a mortgage loan originator in Anchorage, was named loan officer. Hansmeyer has 20 years of banking experience.


Cash Management Services Specialist Scott Bleeker was recently named business development officer. Bleeker has more than four years of experience at First National.


The board also announced three appointments in bank operations. Eagle River Operations Supervisor Debra Price was named assistant vice president. Dimond Branch Operations Supervisor Rhoda Frei now holds the assistant cashier position. Kim Daniel was also appointed assistant cashier and promoted to operations supervisor at Soldotna Branch. The assistant cashier, as an officer of the bank, works with the branch manager to meet the monetary needs of their local community.
