Board of Directors appoints bank officers

First National Bank Alaskas Board of Directors appointed several employees as officers of the bank.

Card Lending manager Christine Newsome was recently appointed Vice President. Newsome has almost 30 years in the banking business, with more than 18 of those spent in Alaska.

Danielle Howard is the new Assistant Vice President at the Wasilla Branch, where she has worked as an operations supervisor for more than a year. Lani Jensen was appointed Assistant Vice President in Loan Servicing in Anchorage. Jensen has 31 years of experience at First National.

Monica Barton, who has worked for First National for seven years, most recently as a personal banker, was recently appointed Loan Officer for the Wasilla Branch.

Brendyn Shiflea and Sebastian Niziol, both lifelong Alaskans, were appointed Loan Officers after completing First Nationals bank training program. Shiflea was born and raised in Palmer and Niziol grew up in Anchorage.
