Board of Directors appoints new vice president

First National Bank Alaskas Board of Directors promoted Berry Kirksey to Programming Manager in the Systems and Programming Unit and appointed him vice president. Kirksey will manage the development, integration and maintenance of the banks information systems.

Kirksey holds a masters degree in Information Technology Management and a master certificate in Applied Project Management. He brings 21 years of experience in the information technology field in the Air Force to his position. Most recently Kirksey worked as a project manager in the Electronic Data Processing Division of First National.

Kirksey is a member of the East Anchorage Rotary Club and several military organizations, including the Air Force Communications and Electronics Association and the Air Force Sergeants Association. He also has experience volunteering as and after-hours caseworker for with the American Red Cross and for various community leadership organizations.
