Eagle River Branch welcomes new operations supervisor

Debra Price is the new Eagle River Branch Operations Supervisor. Price has 17 years banking experience, nearly seven of which have been at First National. Her most recent position was branch manager of Elmendorf Branch. Price, who has been an Alaska resident for more than a decade, says she is excited about the new opportunities at Eagle River Branch.

I look forward to building a team that enjoys helping the community with not only banking services, but community service as well, said Price.

Price will replace current Operations Supervisor Freida Roberts, who is retiring from First National after 32 years at the Eagle River Branch. Roberts started as a loan secretary before she moved her way up to operations supervisor in 1990. Roberts says she will miss serving her local community.

It has been great working with the people in this community. Although the area has grown, we still seem to maintain a lot of the home town atmosphere, said Roberts.

Eagle River Branch will host a retirement party for Roberts on July 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The public is welcome to stop by the branch to wish Roberts well and enjoy refreshments in her honor.

Established in 1922, First National is Alaskas largest Alaskan-owned and operated bank, with ATMs and 30 branches in 18 communities throughout Alaska. More information about First National is available at www.FNBAlaska.com
