Fanning brings wealth of Southeast Alaska financial experience to bank

An Alaskan born and raised in Juneau, Luke Fanning recently joined First National Bank Alaska as a loan officer and was appointed vice president.

He will work out of the Valley Centre Branch in the capitol city.

"First National is a great bank with an excellent and unparalleled reputation for customer service," Fanning said. "I'm happy to be here and look forward to learning from our customers in an effort to help make them more successful."

Fanning brings seven years of banking experience to First National and has worked with customers in every major Southeast Alaska community. He studied life science and business administration as an undergrad at the University of Portland before earning an MBA from the University of Alaska in 2010.

Fanning will be responsible for making sound loans with existing customers and fostering new business relationships for the bank.

In addition to banking, Fanning also spends time commercial fishing. His family owns and operates the F/V Kelsie Dawn. They gillnet for salmon and longline for halibut.
