First National appoints five local Alaskans to be new Branch Managers

First National Bank Alaska’s Board of Directors recently appointed five Alaskans to new Branch Manager roles. All five banking experts will be responsible for consumer loans, branch operations, customer service and business development.

Julie Aloysius returns to First National more than 20 years after starting her career as a Teller at the bank. She was appointed Branch Manager at the Dimond Branch in South Anchorage. Aloysius has worked in the financial industry for 27 years.

“First National is known for caring about Alaska and Alaskans,” Aloysius said. “To rejoin this organization and work to meet the financial needs of Alaskans is quite rewarding.”

Ryan Bargelski was appointed Branch Manager at the North Star Branch on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. He’s worked for First National as a Teller, Branch Support Representative and Operations Supervisor.

“Working closely with our military personnel and their families is an honor and a real responsibility,” Bargelski said. “Our North Star customers know they can count on us, day in, day out.”

Jason Brown takes over at the Kuskokwim Branch in Bethel. His connection to rural Alaska runs deep. Growing up, he lived all around the state while his father worked as a banker in various Alaska communities.

“We work and live in a unique part of the world,” Brown said. “Whether it’s buying a fish camp or paying for a four wheeler, the uniqueness leads to different needs and solutions for our customers.

“We’re here to do everything we can for our fellow Alaskans.”

Kippy Lane will now manage the South Center Branch in midtown Anchorage. She has worked for the bank for more than 26 years, including time in Anchorage, Bethel and Kenai.

“Even though the banking needs of our customers have evolved, we continue to provide solutions and build strong relationships,” Lane said. “We’ll always be ready to help whether customers are in the branch or banking online.”

Danielle Nicklos made the move to the Muldoon Branch from the North Star Branch. Nicklos previously worked as a Teller, Customer Service Representative, Personal Banker and Operations Supervisor.

“The Muldoon Branch has been an integral part of the community for years,” Nicklos said. “We’re part of the neighborhood and always here to help.”

Alaskan-owned and operated since 1922, First National proudly meets the financial needs of Alaskans with ATMs and branches in 18 communities throughout the state.
