Gelione heads Eagle River Branch

Eagle River resident Joseph Gelione is the new Eagle River Branch manager for the largest locally owned and operated commercial bank in Alaska.

Gelione brings more than 16 years of financial service experience to the Eagle River post, most recently as a corporate loan officer at First Nationals Dimond Branch in south Anchorage.

As a three-year resident of Eagle River, where he makes his home with his wife and two school-aged children, Gelione said he knows and does business with the small businesses in his community. People in our town really want to do business with their neighbor, he said. In his new position with the bank, Gelione has been appointed to the board of the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the board of Beans Cafe.

Established in 1922, First National is Alaskas largest Alaskan-owned and operated bank, with ATMs and 29 branches in 17 communities throughout Alaska. More information about First National is available at www.FNBAlaska.com.
