Glennallen Branch opening soon

After years of living in a one-bank town, Glennallen residents will receive a local choice when First National opens a branch April 19.

The branch offers five-day-a-week banking, three tellers, an operations supervisor and a branch manager.

Branch Manager Karl Heinz has worked for First National for three years. Heinz was born and raised in Alaska, and graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Prior to coming to Glennallen, Heinz worked as a loan officer in Kodiak.

Were excited to bring another banking option to Glennallen residents and those in the surrounding area, said Heinz. We have a qualified staff of trustworthy Alaskans who are ready to serve this community.

The branch is located at mile 187.0 Glenn Highway. .

A weeklong open house begins April 24. Customers are invited to meet the staff, see the new facility and enjoy refreshments.

The Glennallen Branch is the banks 29th in 17 different communities.
