Grumman Goose Released at First National Bank

First National Bank announced the release of a limited edition poster of the Grumman Goose, second in a series of three aviation posters. Aircraft photographed for the banks popular 2001 calendar inspired the series.

The 30 x 21 poster of the Goose, a rugged and versatile amphibian
workhorse widely used in coastal Alaska in the past, is being distributed, at no charge, through all First National Bank branches in the state.

The popularity of the 2001 aviation calendar produced by the bank
prompted First National to make these full-color posters available to the public. The history of Alaska is woven inextricably with the history of aviation, said Betsy Lawer, the banks vice chair and chief operating officer. We felt that people would appreciate seeing these amazing machines, that contributed so much to Alaskas development, in a full-color, large-size format.

The bank will release one more limited edition poster later this month.

Established in 1922, First National is Alaskas largest Alaskan-owned and
operated bank. This full-service commercial bank has 27 branches throughout Alaska and ATMs in 17 rural communities.
