Hays appointed newest First National Vice President

First National Bank Alaska’s Board of Directors recently hired Loan Officer Zac Hays and announced his appointment to Vice President.

A lifelong Alaskan, Hays has spent more than 20 years working as a banker in the state. At First National, he will work to provide commercial banking opportunities and financial solutions to Alaska businesses.

“I’ve set out to learn as much as possible about my customers,” Hays said. “Alaska is a unique and wonderful place to live and work. So having a clear understanding of what a customer wants to accomplish allows me to determine how the bank can best help them reach their goals.”

Hays is a member of United Fishermen of Alaska, Southeast Alaska Fisherman’s Alliance and the Alaska Salmon Alliance. He and his wife are raising their five children in Anchorage.

“There is nowhere else we’d rather be,” Hays said. “I’m a homegrown Alaskan and First National is a homegrown Alaska business dedicated to the success of my friends and neighbors. I’m eager to add to the bank’s storied history and tradition.”

Alaskan-owned and operated since 1922, First National proudly meets the financial needs of Alaskans with ATMs and branches in 18 communities throughout the state.
