Katasse returns to Juneau to run bank's branch

Making a return to his hometown of Juneau, Jaysen Katasse recently joined First National Bank Alaska as a loan officer and was appointed assistant vice president.

He's also managing the bank's Juneau Branch at 238 Front Street.

"I'm from Juneau and have lived all over Southeast," Katasse said. "I've grown up here, know the communities well and look forward to getting to know First National's customers."

Katasse brings more than 14 years of banking experience to First National and has not only worked with customers in Southeast Alaska communities, but also spent years banking in Western Alaska.

A Juneau-Douglas High graduate of Tlingit descent, Katasse is responsible for fostering new business relationships for the bank and making sound loans to existing customers.

In addition to a return to banking in Juneau, Katasse is thrilled to bring his family back to the community.

"My wife and I plan to raise our two boys here," Katasse said. "I'm glad to be here and eager to meet more and more of our customers."

Established in 1922, First National is Alaska's largest Alaskan-owned and operated bank, with ATMs and 30 branches in 18 communities throughout Alaska. More information about First National is available at FNBAlaska.com.
