Matthews named Senior Business Development Officer

Jennifer Matthews was recently appointed Senior Business Development Officer by First National Bank Alaska’s Board of Directors.

In her more than 13 years in banking, Matthews has made customers a priority by doing her best to build strong relationships. In 2015, Matthews moved from First National’s Wasilla Branch after being promoted to Business Development Officer in Anchorage.

In her new role, Matthews will support the Cash Management team in a greater capacity, working closely with her fellow First National bankers to help Alaska business customers succeed, and supplying those customers with banking services that allow them to work faster and more efficiently.

“Building strong relationships is my priority,” Matthews said. “I am passionate about uncovering my customer’s needs and providing solutions.”

“I’m looking forward to further serving Alaska businesses in my new role.”

Alaskan-owned and -operated since 1922, First National proudly meets the financial needs of Alaskans with ATMs and branches in 18 communities throughout the state. In 2018, Alaska Business readers voted the bank the “Best of Alaska Business” in two categories, including the Best Place to Work for the third year in a row and best Corporate Citizen for the second year in a row. In January 2018, MSN.com named First National the most-admired company in the state and, in September, it was named one of the Best Banks to Work For by American Banker.
