Non-profits receive nearly half a million dollars

First National Bank gave $471,241 to Alaska non-profits in April, May and
June. The contributions were distributed to organizations in communities across the state.

Annual major sponsorships of the Alaska Public Radio Network and Alaska
School Activities Association continued in the second quarter, along with support of Alaska Childrens Services, Alaska Pacific University, Alaska Run for Women, Beans Cafe, Blood Bank of Alaska, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska, Campfire USA, the Communities in Schools program, Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Hope Community Resources and the Lucy Cuddy Center at UAA.

Other significant contributions included those to Alaska Building Science
Network, Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Alaska Womens
Coalition, Alaskan Scottish Club for the Highland Games, Anchorage Senior
Center, Boy Scouts, Na Keiki O Hawaii, Providence Alaska Foundation, Sitka
Summer Music Festival, Valdez Regional Health Care Foundation and
Youth Restoration Corps.
