Poindexter named new Bethel branch manager

First National Bank Alaska Board of Directors recently named Loan Officer Cameron Poindexter the new Kuskokwim Branch manager in Bethel, beginning September 9.

"I'm looking forward to the professional and personal growth that comes with this new position at First National. I'm also excited to learn more about our great state in Western Alaska and to fish on the Kuskokwim River," said Poindexter.

Poindexter began his career at the bank as a management associate. In that position he learned job responsibilities in both the lending and operations sides of the bank. Poindexter most recently spent nearly five months as a loan officer on the Kenai Peninsula, both in Soldotna and Homer, his home town.

Poindexter, a lifelong Alaskan earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He volunteers with the Alaska FFA Association, Caring for the Kenai and the Alaska Envirothon.
