Sitka local promoted to loan officer

Longtime Alaska resident Caprice Scarano was recently promoted at First National Bank Alaskas Sitka team to loan officer.

Scarano started with the bank in April after working nearly 20 years in Alaska businesses. For the last decade, Scarano worked as the general operations manager for a local barge leasing company. Scarano holds a bachelors and associate of arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Alaska Southeast.

Scarano has volunteered at the Sitka Animal Shelter and as co-chair of the Alaska Day Festival. She says she looks forward to continuing her volunteer work in the community.

Sitka has been my home for eighteen years, said Scarano. It is my honor to call this town my home and I consider the residents my family.
