Teaching Kids to Save Comes with Pepperoni and Cheese

First National Bank kicked off its Savings Makes Sense drawing contest
today, inviting children from around Alaska to submit a drawing of what theyre saving for. Grand prize winners will receive a pizza party for themselves and their school classmates, along with a presentation of the Teach Children to Save program.

Each of First Nationals 28 branches around the state will be accepting
entries from children 5 to 12 years old. Entry blanks are available at the branches, and at the banks Web site, www.FNBAlaska.com. At least one grand prize will be awarded in each of the communities where the bank has a branch.

First Nationals Savings Makes Sense program is part of the Teach Children
to Save program, sponsored by the non-profit American Bankers Association
Education Foundation. The program is designed to spotlight the importance of teaching our youth about saving money.
