Trio of longtime bankers to oversee Anchorage branches

Three First National Bank Alaska banking experts with nearly 100 years of combined experience have been promoted by the bank’s Board of Directors to collectively supervise operations at Anchorage’s 10 branches.

Beverly Boyd is First National’s newest Assistant Vice President and Branch Administrator. She’s worked for the bank for more than 37 years in a number of customer service-related capacities.

“From my first day to now, there’s nothing better than figuring out ways to help our fellow Alaskans meet and exceed their financial goals,” Boyd said. “Today we’re delivering those services in different methods than years past, but our attention to detail will never change.”

Kim Frensley recently celebrated her 35-year employment anniversary at First National. She spent 27 years as the Branch Manager of the Main Branch in downtown Anchorage and six in the same role at the Dimond Branch.

“I’ve cherished working with customers from all parts of town,” Frensley said. “I’ll now team up with other Branch Administrators and branch employees to give our customers the kind of experience they deserve and expect from First National.”

Bill Kaltschnee owns more than 23 years of banking experience, including six years at First National and the last three as Branch Manager at the South Center Branch.

“Our customers receive answers to their questions and quick decisions made right here in Alaska,” Kaltschnee said. “Our local knowledge makes all the difference.”

Boyd, Frensley and Kaltschnee will work closely with their fellow bankers and manage customer relationship development at the branch level.

“We’ll see to it that each banking expert gives the highest quality of service to every customer,” Frensley said.
