Two officers appointed, loan originator welcomed

First National Bank Alaska's Board of Directors recently appointed two employees officers and the bank's Home Loan Center welcomed a new mortgage loan originator. All three are longtime Alaskans.

Garrett Floyd was appointed loan officer and named Seward Branch manager. A high school graduate of Grace Christian School in Anchorage, Floyd earned a bachelor's degree in Economics and Business from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, Calif. He's participated in a commercial real estate internship and took courses in consumer lending and analyzing financial statements.

Matthew Huffman was appointed loan officer and is currently working in the Special Credits Unit. A Service High School graduate, Huffman gained a bachelor's degree in International Business from the University of Nevada in Reno.

Both Floyd and Huffman first joined First National as management associates.

Katie Richardson will work as a mortgage loan originator out of the Palmer Branch.

Richardson brings two years of banking experience to First National. She's earned an associate's degree in Small Business from the University of Alaska and is working towards an Accounting degree.
